Toulouse or not Toulouse? That is the question.

We made it to Toulouse yesterday with a terrible map. Google maps sent me the wrong way again, but it was a good idea to stop at a random metro station to get an idea of where we were going. We somehow made it to our hotel w/o too much trouble.

After all that driving and a full week, we really had no plans to tour the city of Toulouse. Instead, we checked into our hotel, found some pastries and drank the last bottle of wine we needed to drink in order to be under our limit at customs in the US. AND it was the best bottle we've had so far.

We did venture out to dinner and had our foie gras (pic to come later). Then, it was bedtime at 8:30PM since we had to get up at 3:30AM to catch our flight. I need three things to sleep well: a cool room, quiet, and darkness. Our hotel in the city center (which I thought would be a fun time) had none of those things. They were super friendly, the room was quaint, but too much street noise and no A/C made for a rough night. However, MG got plenty of rest...somehow! Now I understand how she was able to take all those naps.

We're at the airport now. Will do one more recap post from home. You won't want to miss our last set of pictures.

P.S...We'd like to thank all of our loyal blog followers/commenters. It always made our day when we received comments from you.
