We've arrived in Boston. Our morning was pretty terrible (Mom couldn't find a way to do her laundry as planned, I sat my backpack in coffee on the train and now it stinks and got coffee stains all over my white shirt, and we almost missed our duck tour). But, we recovered and had a pretty good day in Boston.
Today in Boston: Lunch at the Courtyard inside the Boston Public Library. A stroll around the library, Trinity Church, and Newbury Street and we were off to our Boston Duck Tour (Groupon purchase). Loads of fun there and we got to see the town. After the tour we went over to the Boston Public Gardens and saw all kinds of fancy statues and pretty flowers and swan boats. We ate at Cheers for dinner picked up some frozen yogurt for dessert and watched the Spelling Bee on TV before heading to bed. Looking forward to another fun day in Boston.
Note: There are quite a few things my mom loves in this world. One of them is the color of fall leaves. Don't get in a car with her driving during the month of October. She might drive you right off the road trying to look at a tree. Another thing she loves: old buildings. Boston is heaven for her. She has to take picture every 2 minutes of some old building. She loves them. It's cute. Mom walking around Boston in October could be very dangerous! She might get run over!
Some pics from Mom's camera. More from mine tomorrow:
